It's Miller time
Updated: Sep 25, 2018
In the second round of the 2018 draft the Chicago Bears selected Anthony Miller. A wide receiver from Memphis Tennessee. The Bears thought enough of Anthony that they traded up to get him.
I had the pleasure to see Miller practice on Sunday August 5th in Bourbonnais Illinois. The young man already plays like a seasoned veteran.
In a conversation at https://www.facebook.com/groups/ChicagoBearsDen/ Someone asked about Miller's ability to go up and get the ball. They stated, they prefer a wide receiver that is tall. But they were amazed that Anthony Miller might be a lot like Steve Smith who played for the Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens. It takes more then a tall lean body to be a receiver. It takes body control, quick-twitch in order to have explosiveness and great timing to get up for the ball.
Here is a video of Anthony Miller's performance at Bears camp.
